RCMP seek public’s help locating missing Castor woman

UPDATE SEPT. 3 1:50 P.M. Coronation RCMP have located Melanie O’Connor safe and unharmed. RCMP would like to thank the public and media for their assistance.

Castor – Coronation RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Melanie O’Connor, 59. Melanie was last seen leaving her Castor residence in her vehicle on Sunday, August 26, 2018.

Melanie is described as:

· Caucasian

· Brown hair

· Green eyes

· 5-foot-4 and 189 lbs

Melanie has access to a 2002 light brown Nissan Altima bearing Alberta licence plate number BXZ 0302. She may be travelling with her dog, which is described as a tan coloured Blue Heeler mix breed. There is a concern for her safety and well-being. The RCMP would like to locate and speak with her as soon as possible.
