Police seek ‘car hopping’ prowlers

Stettler RCMP reminds the public to take valuables from unoccupied vehicles and to always lock up

During the evening hours of Sept. 12th, at least four people prowled an area encompassing 53rd St. to 59th St. and 50th Ave. to 51st Ave. in Stettler, stealing a variety of items from unlocked vehicles.

One of the individuals appears to be wearing a hoodie with ‘panda ears’.

Stettler RCMP reminds the public to take valuables from unoccupied vehicles, and not to leave vehicles running while unoccupied. They should also lock the doors of the vehicle when it is parked.
