The Stettler ATOM female team hosted the Hockey Fights Hunger Food Drive on Feb. 8th with tremendous results.

Organizers are pleased to report that they brought in lots of food and $4,711.85 in monetary donations. Main donation drop-off points were located at Canadian Tire, No Frills and Sobeys.

Also, after they were done collecting and helping to organize the donations, the girls got to ride on the Stettler Fire department firetrucks to Boston Pizza for a pizza party.

All donations will be going to support the Stettler & District Food Bank.

Organizers also noted that the food drive offered the community the chance to help support the Stettler Regional Fire Department at the same time.
