Lacombe-based Smith Roofing has made a generous donation to the Stettler Food Bank. The company had helped out with hail repairs around the community after last summer’s storm, and had wished to provide a donation as well. They were at Walmart on Dec. 14th to do some shopping and ended up filling seven grocery carts. Along with cash given, the overall value of the donation amounted to $2,000, said Betty Birch of the Stettler Food Bank.
