Erskine is getting its own Parent Link Centre.

Erskine’s Parent Link started April 10 and is open to parents and children every other Thursday from 10 a.m. to noon.

“We’re offering free play crafts and rhymes that bind,” said Program Coordinator Catherine Robinson, adding that they also offer Triple P Positive Parenting course,

Erskine’s Parent Link is operated out of McMan Central. The head office is in Innisfail and Stettler’s Parent Link is behind the Stettler mall.

Robinson said she came up with the idea to open a Parent Link in Erskine because some parents don’t want to drive to Stettler.

The first Parent Link had three families and four children attend.

“It’s not a terrible start but we want to get the word out,” said Robinson.

Anyone interested in more information about the Erskine Parent Link can call 403-742-3600. It’s geared towards families with children five and under.
