New motto for Clearview Public Schools

Clearview School Board trustees have been working with the Communications and Engagement Committee on rebranding.

Clearview School Board trustees have been working with the Communications and Engagement Committee on rebranding Clearview Public Schools across the board, more in line with the board’s new priorities, mission and vision.

The effort has brought about some suggestions regarding the new motto for the schools after the committee consulted with division leadership and trustees earlier this year and reviewed the work of the ad hoc committees that had revised the mission and vision statements of the schools.

The new motto that was proposed was ‘We all belong; we all succeed’.

In creating the new motto, paramount importance was given to the fact that it had to be unique to Clearview Public Schools’ students, staff, parents and communities; besides resonating with the board’s revised mission and vision.

The motto received unanimous approval from the Clearview School Board trustees, and will lead to the committee coming up with an updated logo for the school division.

The Board’s goal for 2015-2016 is to work on strong communication in branding, once the revised logo of Clearview Public Schools is approved.

Trustees want to engage in communication with students, staff, parents and communities in a way that will reflect and celebrate division’s strengths and the best choice for their students.

The next board meeting will be on August 27, at 10 a.m.
