It’s time to ‘Name It & Win’ - enter our contest to win terrific prizes while supporting local journalism.
Through Aug. 26th, folks can check out www.stettlerindependent.com/contests for details on ‘Name It & Win’. It’s also a fun way to see how well you really do know your own town after all.
If you correctly identify the business/organization in a photo which will be published each week online and in the paper, you will be entered weekly for a chance to win a $25 gift card for Bloke’s Bakery or The Coffee Tree.
And then on Sept. 2nd, the main prize will be drawn - a $375 gift card to Sean’s No Frills for those who are not subscribed to the Independent.
But if the lucky individual whose name is selected is subscribed to the paper, they will see that prize double to a whopping $750!
“It’s a way to ‘support local’ and to also support local journalism,” explained Deb Reitmeier, circulation manager for Black Press, adding that the Independent provides community coverage online 24/7 and has been a trusted source of local news and information for 114 years.
Currently, there is also a Summer Subscription Sale, she said.
