Increasingly sophisticated thieves steal RV from dealer

Vehicles and property parked at a residence in the 4800 block of 51 Street in Stettler were egged during the night on July 21.

A residence in the 4400 block of 58 Street in Stettler had its front window broken by a rock on July 26.

Vehicles were damaged overnight on three occasions in Stettler: On July 21, a truck’s side window was broken while parked in the 5000 block of 50 Avenue; the next day a vehicle was badly scratched (keyed) while parked in the 5700 block of 40 Avenue and on July 24, a vehicle parked in the 4500 block of 50 Avenue had its back window broken.

THEFT

On July 21, a car dealership in the 4400 block of 44 Avenue in Stettler reported that an RV was stolen. Taken was a white 2009 Fleetwood Prowler 27’ trailer. Culprits defeated a security device and towed the unit away.

On July 22, overnight, a business compound was broken into in the 6100 block of 50 Avenue in Stettler. Spools of wire were stolen.

On July 25, metal cladding, an antique radio and a Honda dune buggy were reported stolen from private property in the County of Stettler near Big Valley.

On July 2, the Town of Stettler suffered the theft of a water pump and 200 feet of hose. This equipment was being used by the town along 51 Avenue.

On July 26, an oil/gas site located south of Stettler County had a solar inverter stolen.
