Items and collectibles from the former HCMS Stettler will go on auction in Nanaimo, BC in April as part of a fundraiser to benefit the local branch of the sea cadet corps and local navy league.
According to a report in the Nanaimo News Bulletin, the April 10 fundraiser will feature naval and marine collectibles donated by a local resident.
The collectibles are said to include life rings from the former HMCS Terra Nova, former HMCS Annapolis and former HMCS Stettler, vintage Department of National Defence photos, a variety of ships’ plaques and other naval printed material.
