Friday May 20, 2011, Stettler Regional Fire Rescue responded to a burn pit fire West of Stettler. The fire was contained and no further damage resulted, the incident is still under investigation.
Friday May 20, 2011 Stettler Regional Fire Rescue responded to a single vehicle roll over approximately 4 miles South of Stettler on Highway 56. STARS Helicopter responded to the scene and the lone male driver was airlifted to hospital with undetermined injuries. The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
