UPDATED: Due to high winds, school buses will be operating this afternoon at a reduced speed

“Buses will not be operating in the areas of Coronation and Brownfield. Schools are contacting families at this time to pick up your child or children for afternoon transportation after school”

Clearview Public Schools issued the following notice this afternoon about bus times affected by today’s high winds.

“With our current wind conditions, please note school buses will not be operating in the areas of Coronation and Brownfield. Schools are contacting families at this time to pick up your child or children for afternoon transportation after school.”

In an earlier statement, Clearview Public Schools noted that, “With our current wind conditions, please note school buses will be operating this afternoon at a reduced speed. As such, families should expect students to be arriving at their usual destinations later than usual.

“If the school bus driver determines that road or wind conditions are unsafe once the bus route begins, the school bus may need to return to the school and families will be contacted.

Families, if you wish, may also pick up your child or children for afternoon transportation after school.
