Donalda’s poker rally coming up end of Sept.

The Donalda &District Museum will be hosting a Sunday turkey dinner on Thursday, Sept. 28 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Drop In Centre. The menu consists of roast turkey, dressing, gravy, dreamy mashed potatoes, buttered carrots, corn, yummy beets, as well as salads, buns, beverages and desserts. The Donalda Library is proud to present Elaine Reeder, “Christian author” from Edmonton, on Sat. Sept. 30 at 2 p.m. as she shares her testimony and how her writing all came about with and by the grace of God. Please join us for a sampling of Elaine’s books. The 7th Annual Willy bronze Poker Rally will be taking place on Sept. 30 to Oct. 1. Enjoy the fall beauty of the scenic Donalda Badlands and Meeting Creek Valley. Registration is 10 a.m. to noon at the Donalda Equestrian Centre. There will also be a Saturday End of Trail Meal from 4 p.m.to 6 p.m. which will feature barbeque beef on a bun, pumpkin pie, and beverage. Camping and/ or stalls available.
