The Coronation RCMP wants to hear from the local community members about policing comments or concerns.

“Normally, a town hall meeting would have been held in a local community; however, due to the current state of the pandemic, this was not possible,” writes Sgt. John Pike, the Coronation detachment commander, via press release.

Instead of conducting an in-person town hall, Pike will be accepting email or mail input beginning Mon, March 14 until Fri, March 25.

“Sgt. Pike will review all of the correspondence received,” continues the release.

In April, Sgt. Pike will respond to the top 10 issues and concerns presented and publish his responses on the Castor, Coronation, Halkirk and County of Paintearth social media pages and through local media outlets.

To participate, mail Coronation RCMP, 4909 Royal St., Coronation, AB, T0C 1C0, or email the detachment at KCoronationDet@rcmp-grc.gc.ca.
