Coronation RCMP charge a driver for disobeying a flag person

Coronation RCMP have charged a 30 year old Edmonton man for disobeying a flag person at the scene of an collision.

On January 31, 2018, at 2:50 p.m., an area service company was on the scene at a single vehicle rollover, southeast of Castor, on Highway 36.

Police say a tractor-trailer had rolled over and was blocking half of the roadway. A motorist then disobeyed the direction of the flag person at the scene and attempted to drive through the collision zone.

Failing to obey a directional sign or a flag person giving directions can carry a fine of $155.
