The school doors opened for the new term on Sept. 3 at the Byemoor School.
The principal is Krista Jewett, teachers are Danielle Berringer, Catherine Maxwell and Elaine Hoekstra. Support staff is Bobbi Buchwitz, Rebecca Schofer, Amy Kobi and Lorna Schilling. The custodian is Michelle Foster and bus drivers are Shalene Grover and Rhonda Maginn.
The school also started on Tuesday at the Byemoor Colony School. The teachers are Jenelle Hassett and Erin Haspect. Education Assistants are Theresa Christie (her 25th year) and Rebecca Schofer (part-time).
The Byemoor Colony is in the process of building a new school, which should be completed in a few months.
Happy 92nd Birthday wishes are sent to Ben Starling of the Hackett district who celebrated his special occasion on Aug. 29. Best wishes for many more happy years, Ben.
Enjoy the entertainment at the Byemoor Hotel on Sept. 7. Mark Fecho and Heather Brown will be entertaining from 8 – 11 p.m. It will be a great way to celebrate the end of summer.
Farmers got a rain delay from harvest on Wednesday but the countryside needed the moisture.
