A 16-year-old female from Stettler was arrested on Feb. 5 for drug possession in the local high school. She will appear in Provincial Youth Court in Stettler on April 14 to enter a plea to a charge of possession of a controlled substance (marihuana).

Bylaw paves way for new sidewalk

Town of Stettler Council adopted a bylaw (No. 1992-10) at its regular Feb. 2 meeting to authorize the town to construct a new sidewalk on 50 Street from 51 Avenue to the south boundary of lot 10 and on 51 Avenue from 50 Street to the west boundary of lot 7 and to levy a special assessment under a local improvement.
