Stettler's The Gracenotes, Rhapsody Girls and Tiny Tenors, and Tiny Gracenotes finished off their performing season on May 24 with a spring recital at the Performing Arts Centre.
Over 100 people were in the audience for the performance, which lasted just under two hours.
The 22 youth comprising the three groups performed a multitude of songs from a multitude of genres.
Songs performed included Seasons of Love, off the Rent soundtrack, Drunken Sailor, Colors of the Wind, Blackbird, Good Ship Lollipop, and Seize the Day.
In total, over 30 songs were performed.
The performance was bittersweet for conductor Rhonda Sylvesterm as the conclusion of the 2025 season meant saying goodbye to long-time student Rheese Andersen.
Andersen, travelling in from Castor for choir and private lessons, had been a part of the Gracenotes for 13 years and was graduating out of the program.
At the conclusion of the concert, Sylvester did share other news; The Gracenotes placed first overall at the Alberta Provincial Musical Festival for community choral under 19 years old.
In addition, the Gracenotes Honour Choir placed first in the community choral 16 years old and under.
Finally, Hayley Anderson and Haylah Haustein placed first in piano duet, Grade 5 and under.
