For just $20 and a $15 bottle of wine, you can win all the wine you need for entertaining and gifting over the holiday season.
Tickets are on sale at the library and through Friends of the Library until Dec. 5th.

Memberships are free to residents of Stettler and Stettler County, and are available at the library, and give you access to a world of resources!

Something Cool After School features Animals in the Snow on Thursday, Nov. 28th from 4 to 5:30 p.m.
Learn about penguins and other cold-weather animals, play winter animal charades, then make your own “snow” with Ivory soap to play in. Ages 5+
Need some motivation to get writing? The Stettler Writers Group meets on Thursday, Nov. 28th from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Join us for a discussion on writing and write a few pieces in class. Bring a pen and paper!
Relax after school over a few of our newest board games. We will have an assortment of snacks on hand to enjoy while you kick back. Join other teens for Teen Scene: Games Night on Friday, Nov. 29th from 4 to 6 pm.
Running the entire month of December, the Reverse Advent Calendar will support our local food bank. Each day a specified item from the food bank can be dropped off at the library. At the end of December, the Advent collection will be delivered to the food bank. See the library for a list.
Smash Bros Tournaments run every Saturday in December from 1-4 p.m. Come duke it out with us!
Come see the movie already creating Oscar buzz as The TIFF Film Circuit presents Judy on Monday, Dec. 2nd at 7:30 at the Jewel Theatre. This biopic explores the last few months in the life of Judy Garland, played by Renee Zellweger, as she copes with booing crowds, money woes, and a looming child custody battle.

Beginner Ukulele Night is a perfect way to learn how to play this interesting instrument. Bring your own ukulele or borrow one of ours. It runs Tuesday, Dec. 3rd from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Adults will enjoy the Tuesday Club, running every Tuesday from 1- 3 p.m. On Dec. 3rd, explore Adventures in VR.
Join hosts from the Stettler Learning Centre and the library on Thursday, Dec. 5th at 5:30 p.m. for our annual International Potluck celebration. Bring food reflecting your culture or family traditions and sample food from around the world. Entertainment to follow. Call the library for more information.

Toastmasters meets Thursday, Dec. 5th and 19th at 7 p.m. in the SRC Boardroom. Improve your public speaking in a relaxed, supportive environment.
Parents and caregivers with young children ages 0-6 years will enjoy two programs for tots offered at the library in partnership with the Stettler Learning Centre.
Magic Carpet Ride (Tuesdays) and Read and Rhyme (Wednesdays and Saturdays) are offered 10:30 to noon. Play, sing, read and have fun together!
