Job seekers flock to Stettler Community Hall for Job Fair

Busy job fair held at Stettler Community Hall

Stettler Regional Board of Trade and Community Development hosted their spring Job Fair on March 18.  The event occurred at the Stettler Community Hall, helping connect employers to potential employees.

The job fair opened at 6 p.m. and had 24 employers registered although one or two did back out last minute, for health reasons.

The hall was full right from the start with a growing crowd quickly starting to spread out, and several employers having conversations with interested visitors.

Businesses on hand included automotive dealers and repair shops, construction, and financial services.

Educational vendors included the Stettler Adult Learning Centre and Red Deer Polytechnic.

The Stettler Regional Fire Department was on hand to speak with those who may be interested in joining their ranks.

The Stettler Board of Trade will also be hosting a similar event later on in the fall.

Upcoming events through the Stettler Board of Trade include the Annual Stettler Trade Show in April.
