First of all I wish to thank the Town of Stettler for providing and mowing the dog park. However, I don’t think that it was their intention to make it into a “toilet” for dogs. The reason I am saying this, is: On Sunday the 28th of February, I really had nothing better to do than fill up almost three plastic shopping bags with dog poop. How – if you feel, it is beneath you to bend over and pick up after your dog (I’m sure no jewel would fall out of your crown!), then you should not have a dog or at least keep it at home. The town was thoughtful enough to provide a disposal bin and dog poop bags – so — use them! It also does not hurt to carry one or two of those bags in the pocket or purse, just in case there are none at the disposal bin. They do run out sometimes.
It would also be appreciated if people would pick up after their dogs on sidewalks and boulevards. Thank you.
