An appalling cruelty in B.C.

Dear Editor:

I cannot believe what I heard on “The National” last night. One hundred sled dogs that were used for the 2010 Winter Olympics were shot and killed in a mass shooting in or around Whistler, B.C. They were all healthy and you know how beautiful these dogs are. They were not needed anymore. How could this happen? Why was something not done before this happened? It was probably done before the SPCA or any other animal rights groups knew about it. I am shocked and appalled at the company that is responsible for this. I personally hope that they will face criminal charges.

An animal lover,
