Rimbey RCMP received a report of a two-vehicle collision on Range Road 42 at Township Road 430 on Sept. 2 at 3:14 p.m.
Emergency crews tended to the occupants of both vehicles, according to an RCMP release. The driver of one of the vehicles, a 46-year-old resident of Ponoka County, was transported to hospital with serious injuries however he later died.
The driver of the other vehicle received minor injuries.
Police remained on scene for several hours investigating.The investigation into the circumstances of this collision is ongoing.
