Draw 2 complete at Alberta Women's Provincial Curling Championship

Curling action in Rimbey continues Thursday

Robyn Silvernagle's rink scored a decisive victory in Draw 2 of the 2025 Alberta Women's Provincial curling Championship in Rimbey on Wednesday night. 

Silvernagle's team earned an 8-2 win over Janais DeJong in just six ends. DeJong's rink won 8-6 over Nicky Kaufman in the opening draw in Rimbey. 

Kayla Skrlik grabbed a 7-5 win over Michelle Hartwell in nine ends. Gracelyn Richards squad picked up a 6-3 victory over Hannah Phillips in their opening game of the event. 

Kayleigh Shannon earned an impressive come-from-behind win, beating Myla Plett's rink 9-7, despite trailing 7-4 through eight ends. 

Draw 3 gets underway at 9 a.m. Thursday, with DeJong taking on Claire Booth and Myla Plett playing Elliot Martens.
