Coronation RCMP ask for help identifying a suspect in a hit and run in Castor on Valentine’s Day.

Coronation RCMP are reaching out the the public for help with a hit and run case in Castor earlier this month.

On Wednesday, February 14th, at around 4:30 p.m., the Mounties received a complaint of a hit and run on 52nd Avenue in Castor.

Police believe the motorist was stunting with their vehicle when it proceeded dangerously through the intersection of 51st Street. The vehicle then sped away from the intersection, lost control and struck a pedestrian and his snow blower.

Fortunately, the pedestrian did not sustain serious injuries, however the driver did not stop and proceeded eastbound towards Gus Wetter School.

The driver is believed to be between the ages of 25 and 35 years old with dark hair and a mustache, and was driving a newer model, blue, 4-door pickup truck.

Investigators ask anyone who may have information regarding this occurrence to contact Coronation RCMP at 403-578-3666.
