Marty Jones and Aaron Solomon performed a variety of The Eagles-inspired songs at the Bashaw Majestic Theatre on Sept. 10.

There was a "Peaceful Easy Feeling" in Bashaw on Sept. 10 when Ontario-based musicians Marty Jones and Aaron Solomon came to town.

Jones, of The Eagles tribute band "Desperado," and Solomon, of The Eagles tribute band "Eagle Eyes," were in Bashaw as part of the Majestic Theatre's monthly musical entertainment.

According to tour manager Merv Buchanan of Tren Entertainment, it was another sold-out show of around 70 people.

The duo performed a number of The Eagles hits including "Take it to the Limit," Take it Easy," and "The Long Run."

In addition, the duo performed several songs from Don Henley's, one of The Eagles' founders, solo career.

Overall, the pair played two 10-song sets with about 15 minutes intermission between.

As usual, the Friends f the Majestic ran a concession offering a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and snacks, and a 50/50 draw which had a pot climb to over $200.

Due to a dinner theatre taking place in early October, the monthly music entertainment will break before a Reba McEntire tribute performance comes to town in November.
