'Reba' performs in Bashaw

Latest in the Friends of the Majestic Monthly concert series

The musical stylings of Reba McEntire were on full display in Bashaw's Majestic Theatre when Jackie Grainge came to town on Nov. 5.

Bashaw was the second stop in a six-stop tour for Grainge with her Reba McEntire tribute show.

In the show, she took on the persona of Reba, interacting with the audience as if she were the country icon.

Grainge performed for just under two hours, with an intermission between sets, performing many of Reba's  fan-favourite songs.

In her Reba persona, Grainge opened the show with Reba's song Fancy, Why Haven't I heard from You, and Little Rock.

Other hits performed throughout the evening include The Night the Lights went out in Georgia, and I'm a Survivor.

As usual, the friends of the Majestic Theatre were on hand operating a concession with many different snacks and beverages being offered.

The final show of 2024 will be a Neil Diamond tribute show on Dec. 17.
Tickets are available by calling Val Wandler at 403-358-8575 or Shelley Boileau at 403-588-9958.
