Bashaw’s Majestic Theatre will soon be welcoming the musical stylings of rocker Jimmy Buffett.
Jimmy Parrish, a Florida native who has travelled North America for the last three decades with his tribute show to Buffett, is a musician, singer and songwriter performing more than 200 shows per year.
Parrish and his band The Ocean Waves have played festivals, resorts, clubs, corporate events, and other events, even opening for performers like Kenney Chesney and John Fogerty.
However, the “multiple award-winning entertainer’s favourite pastime is performing solo at intimate dinner show venues and small theatres, where he can get up close and personal with fans,” says tour producer Merv Buchanan of Trend Tributes.
“His easy rapport with audiences and his mastery of Jimmy Buffett’s ‘singalong party music’ have endeared him to music fans from Miami to Los Angeles and from Oregon to Belize.”
