Entertainment in the Park 2020 lineup announced

The summer concert series will proceed with COVID-19 precautions in place

The Town of Stettler has released the full lineup of performers that will be featured in the 2020 Entertainment in the Park concert series.

This year’s festivities will consist of nine free concerts featuring local and touring artists including Canadian Idol finalist Jaydee Bixby (July 22nd), ACMA winner Drew Gregory (Aug. 5th) and CCMA nominees Renegade Station (July 8th).

The series begins on June 24th with a local favourite, The Jazz Guys.

Other performers include Devin Cooper on Aug. 12th, Erin Ross on July 15th, The Wheatland Band on July 29th, Genuine Cowgirls on Aug. 19th and Tracy Millar on Aug. 26th.

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, precautions and guidelines will be monitored to recognize all public health orders and ensure that the events operate safely. Attendees are asked to observe the following regulations during all Entertainment in the Park events:

• The main interior area in front of the gazebo at West Stettler Park will be limited to the first 100 people, or the current maximum occupancy mandated by Alberta Health Services.

• Attendees must maintain a physical distance of at least two metres between attendees who are not from the same household at all times. This includes when attendees are arriving and exiting the performance area.

• Town of Stettler staff will be on hand to manage the number of people attending each performance in addition to ensuring attendees follow physical distancing measures.

• Reminder that there is no access to public or portable washrooms at West Stettler Park.

“We thank all attendees in advance for their cooperation and are pleased to once again offer the opportunity to enjoy live entertainment amidst the natural beauty of West Stettler Park,” said Manager of Recreation and Culture Brad Robbins,

“We are very excited to once again provide a great line-up of summer entertainment at West Stettler Park to both residents and visitors of Stettler. While events will have a different feel from previous years with new safety protocols in place to keep everyone safe, it still gives the public an opportunity to enjoy the summer, West Stettler Park and some great live entertainment.”
