Coronation Performing Arts (CPA) is set to kick off another season of entertainment!
The 2024-25 concert season will begin Nov. 9 when the Vancouver-based The Paperboys roll into town.
"They are fun, fearless, and freewheeling," said Cindy Heidecker, one of CPA's organizers.
"They offer a variety of styles."
According to the CPA website, the musicians will perform anything from Celtic to Mexican to Bluegrass and more.
"Something will appeal to everyone's tastes," said Heidecker.
As per usual, all the season performances will be done as dinner-theatre performances, though some changes have been made to the ticketing process.
Performance-only tickets will remain available as well.
In the past, table seating was a first-come, first-served affair, however, for the upcoming season CPA has moved to a table reservation system, so be sure to get your tickets early to ensure you get the table you want.
"We're making it so everyone knows which table they are sitting at when they arrive," said Heidecker.
"It's taking out any guesswork."
Seats at individual tables remain on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Season tickets remain available and will be sold up until the evening of The Paperboys' performance.
However, those purchasing season tickets before Sept. 30 will be entered into a draw to either have their season performance tickets or meal tickets paid for.
Following the November start to the season, performances will run monthly, with country crooner Tommy Charles performing on Dec. 7, Alabama tribute Mountain Music will roll into town on Jan. 25, 2025, and pianists Piano Heist on Feb. 15, 2025.
The season will close on March 29, 2025, when east-coast-based folk singers Rum Ragged head to town.
Tickets, individual or season, are available by contacting L & C Bookkeeping at 403-578-3838.
