Castor Violin teacher Carol Ries has taught area students from Hanna, Brownfield as well as Castor, at her Castor home-based studio. During the 2017-18 school year, she started her first year also teaching at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Stettler. On June 6, her Stettler students celebrated one year toward becoming a violinist, with a recital held at St. Peter’s.
Having taught for 11 years at Burlington Ontario’s “Long & McQuade Musical Instruments” (2002-13), June 6’s recital was Carol’s 21st student recital.
Music is a universal language that unites us all and Carol always welcomes new students.
