Yesterday’s Bingo is next week – Botha Booster

By LOUISE BELLAIR

Due to the renovations to the Botha Seniors’ Centre, the Bingo game scheduled for Jan. 18 will be put off until the following Tuesday, that is Jan. 25 at 7:15 p.m. Sorry for any inconvenience. They are laying new flooring in there and a new paint job is scheduled to be done in the future. So the Botha Seniors’ Centre is going to have a brand new look inside when everything is done. Then following the early bird Bingo on Jan. 25, the next one will be a week later on Feb. 1 instead of two weeks, just this once, then things should be back to regular times. So, please come out on Jan. 25 for the early bird Bingo and see their new flooring and enjoy a game of Bingo.

Enjoy skating everyone! Family passes with some special functions are on sale now. Please contact Hazel Davidson at 403-742-8784 to get yours, or to find out more information. Calling all kids: There are after-school activities going on, if you would like to come out and have some fun and do some skating with your friends and neighbors, so please contact D. J. Kistner at 403-740-4950 or 403-742-8184 and leave a message if no answer. Please phone after school or evenings only.

Quilting time will be on Jan. 31 at 9:30 a.m.

The next Old-Time Dance is scheduled for Jan. 30 at 1:30 p.m at the Botha Hall. Come out that Sunday afternoon and kick your feet up to the music of the Badlanders. Please bring a salad or desert to share with your friends and neighbors and come and have a great time.
