Wrestling team does well at U of A - Erskine Enquirer

The Erskine Wrestling team attended the Paperweight tournament at the University of Alberta’s Butterdome last Saturday. Erskine’s first tournament participants put on a good show with Ally Marshall, Luke Poffenroth, Ryan Coleman receiving fourth place, and Tim Gardner winning two of his bouts. Our other participants who have been to at least more than one were Brandon Marshall (fifth), Darren Gendre (second), Carlie Genre (third). Adam Standage and Tyler Matchett won one of their bouts, each. Erskine participated really well at the large tournament with many competitors.

Wm. E Hay Grade 9 team is at Erskine today after school to play basketball. Next Wednesday, Erskine is at Stettler Middle School for basketball.
