Our little community would really like to welcome the Thorsteinson family back home permanently after a very long stay at the Calgary Hospital. Way to go, Jace. Jace was seriously hurt right before this school year began at the rodeo he was in. He was thrown from his horse and than the horse fell on him immediately after. Jace was in serious condition and was airlifted by Stars to Calgary Hospital, where his parents (Neil and Jamie) and his brother immediately went, after the plane left. But Jace was very determined to recover and with a lot of hard work and determination, he was able to return back home with his family. They all returned home on a permanent basis now. Way to go Jace, we all all very proud of you.
Hopefully everyone had a great time at the Valentine's Dance this past Sunday.The next dance will be Sunday, Feb. 28, starting at 1:30 p.m. This will be their St. Patrick's Theme Dance, so please feel free to wear something green in color. The "Country Gems Band" will be providing the entertainment that afternoon, so you will not want to miss out in all the fun that afternoon.
This past Tuesday was Groundhog Day, so did the groundhog see his shade or not? Hopefully spring will be right around the corner, which will be nice.
In about a week and a half, it will be Valentine's Day, so remember to get something special for your love ones.
Than Feb. 15 is the Family Day, long weekend, so hopefully everyone will be planning to do something for that day with your loved ones. There will be Family Day celebrations around the country, so hopefully everyone can get out to one of these.
