Volunteer dinner was rich in entertainment

Donalda Diary

Our condolences to Ray Kneeland and family on the passing of Pat Kneeland. The service was held on Tuesday May 3, at the Stettler Community Hall.

The Donalda volunteer dinner was held April 30, with a great attendance, although we know not every volunteer was able to attend, we did miss you. We were entertained by guest speaker Dan Ohler from Sangudo. He spoke on relationships, with your spouse, partners or with even volunteers, very fitting for the occasion. We were then entertained by our local band the Donalda Coulee Cats. All in all the evening was enjoyed by good food and good friends.

Highway clean-up will be happening on Saturday May 7, a reminder to drive careful and watch for the clean-up crews.

How about coming out and enjoy an evening in the coulees on Friday, May 13, when Donalda is hosting a drive-in movie. This will be held at the Willow Canyon Ski Chalet, movie starting at dusk, food and refreshments will be available. Bring a car load and enjoy.
