HALKIRK HERALD — Congratulations go out to Wyatt Kent and Makayla Enns on the birth of their daughter, Paisley Dawn on Wednesday, Oct. 19 in Stettler weighing in at 7lb. 7oz. First time grandparents are Rick and Lisa Kent and first time great grandparents are Melody and Dale Kent.

Jacquie Dietrich returned from a two-week trip to Victoria and Parksville visiting with family.

JD and Sandra Johnson and girls along with Kevin and Cynthia Perry and family shared a fantastic holiday in Phoenix where they attended an NBA game featuring the Phoenix Suns versus the Dallas Mavericks, a tour of the building and getting to sit court side during practice. Then they went to a Arizona Coyotes game against the Philadelphia Flyers and a guided tour with Shane Doan of the locker room facilities. The adults enjoyed some shopping while the kids enjoyed the pool.

Sympathy goes out to Leona Robertson on the loss of her granddaughter Lindsey Keane, daughter of Lori who lives on Vancouver Island.
