BYEMOOR/ENDIANG NEWS -- The tornado sighting east of Endiang last Wednesday caused lots of excitement in the district. The warning of the Endiang tornado came across on several radio and television stations. Luckily there was no damage reported. Many Endiang folks received phone calls, text messages and emails from family and friends across the province, checking in to see if everything was okay.

The storm dumped more than two inches of rain in the hamlet of Endiang, with lesser amounts around the district.

It’s been a wet week and on Friday evening the skies opened up in areas near Byemoor, dropping three and four inches of rain in places. More rain on Sunday continues to delay haying operations.
