BOTHA BOOSTER -- Make sure you come out to the Senior Centre tonight at 7:15 p.m. for an exciting game of Bingo. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Who knows, you could be the next big winner, or one of the big winners. Who knows unless you try hope to see you all there.

If you see Lorraine Hankins this Saturday, April 2, make sure you wish her a very happy birthday. She is a very important and liked person from our little community, as she is involved in a lot of activities around this area. So happy birthday, Lorraine! I hope you have a excellent day.

There is one fantastic guy from around the Botha area I would like to mention. His name is Jace Thorsteinson, and he is a very fantastic hard-working kid. He has come a long way since he was seriously hurt in a rodeo competition just before school started this past September. Last Sunday, March 19, he and his uncle Rocky entered the Pro/AM Competition and Jace took sixth place out of 19 kids. Way to go Jace! We are all very proud of you.

Remember this coming Sunday, April 3, to be sure you come on out at 1:30 p.m. to the Botha Hall to dance to the music from the “Sparkling Tones Band.” This will be the Old-Tyme Dance Club Easter Tyme Dance, so make sure you join in the fun. The Committee is asking everyone to bring buns/sandwiches, salads, or dessert with them to share at the pooled luncheon that afternoon. These dances are open to all age groups, and everyone is invited to join in the fun.

This is also the second-last dance that will be held until next fall, so make sure you come on out. The last dance will be held the last Sunday of April. If you have any questions, please phone Doug Haustein at 403-742-3994 or John Blonski at 403-574-2197.

On Monday April 4, is the very important monthly meeting starting at 12 noon. This starts with a potluck luncheon, so please bring something to share with you. The meeting follows directly after the potluck so hopefully all Seniors can join in.
