The school year is winding down

.

Erskine Enquirer

Last Tuesday at the Grade Nine Farewell, all students looked beautiful and handsome as they made tribute to parents and teachers, gave class history and class futures. The students used technology for many presentations and did a great job. Best wishes for your future in high school.

Just to inform everyone that Erskine post office has never been on strike. They are contracted and not a union. So they are open for business, just that no mail is coming or going, although government-issued checks were delivered to post offices on Monday. Hopefully the mail will start moving sometime this week.

Erskine school’s rained out fun day for last Monday has been moved to today.

Watch your child’s agenda for exams. They are in full force this week.

Grades 5-8 heads off on a field trip to West Edmonton Mall on June 24. The bus leaves 8:15 a.m. and arrives back at school at 5:30 p.m. for parent pick up. Grades 5 - 8 raised money for this trip by recycling bottles and juice boxes.

June 23 is breakfast club’s last day for breakfast for this school year. Last milk day is June 24.

On June 27, Grades 1-5 will be going swimming for part of their fun day on Monday.

Also on Monday, Stettler public library presents their summer reading program school at Erskine at noon for Grades 1-5.

June 28 is Junior High report card pick up.

June 28 is Picnic in the Park, hosted by Parent School Council and an assembly for elementary students.

Birthday wishes go out to Jordan Smith June 24, Alicia Nibourg June 24, Nick Nibourg June 24, Dylan McKay June 25, Hayley Fisher June 25, and Sarah Pollock June 26.
