We are so excited to be back at the Stettler Trade Show on April 8, 9 and 10.

This will be a long-awaited return to Trade Show; word is that there will be over one hundred and twenty-five vendors with entertainment including: an Elvis tribute, Snow Circus, magic, agility dogs, a puppet show and more.

What a fantastic way to spend your weekend and see all the cool products and services available locally!

Another great reason to come out to the show are the contests!

Sign up at the different booths for a chance to win some cool items.

For more information, check out the Trade Show website.

Easter is coming, Peeps!

We know you like slime and Peeps, so we wondered what would happen if we combined them?

That is what we will be doing on Sat, April 16 at 10:30 a.m. or 12 p.m.

It may be messy, but it will be fun. Spaces are limited, so call us to reserve your spot. For ages 6+.

We are bringing Adult Game Night to the library this month on Thurs, April 22 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Drop in anytime for JackBox games. We will also have the VR system running and the video games will be running too. You will need a cellphone for the JackBox games. Adult gaming is for ages 18+.

If you loving gaming, be sure to join us on Monday nights between 8 and 9:30 p.m.

We have a weekly online gaming tournament with the Rocky Mountain House Public Library. No sign-up is required, you will need to have “Nintendo Switch Online” to participate and we will share a Discord link to communicate with other players online. All ages are welcome.

For teens and ‘tweens we are hosting a snack tasting session!

We have many options for you to try, including chips, chocolate, pop, Oreo’s, and more! You may just discover a new favourite snack! Drop by the library on Thurs, April 14 for a mini feast! We meet at 6 p.m. Call the library to sign up. For ages 10+.

Growing plants without soil? It seems impossible, right?

Well, it is entirely possible with hydroponic gardening. Join Mike Thurlborn from Over the Top Hydroponics on Sat., April 30 at 12 p.m. to learn how to keep your produce growing year-round. We will meet in the library. For all ages.

Checking out books is great, but who doesn’t want to own their favorites?

The Stettler Friends of the Library Society’s Giant Book Sale is back on Fri, April 8, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sat, April 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

All sales are by donation. We have been saving the best gently used books for the sale so stop by and load up!

We want to give a big thanks to everyone who dropped off book donations! The funds raised will go to supporting more programming at the library.

Spring is finally here, and with it comes the return of birds.

Create your own little bird to spruce up your house at Crystal’s Crafting Club. We will use yarn scraps to create our very own birds while we hang out together, in person again. We will meet on Thursday, April 14th at 6:30 p.m. Call the library for more information.

Participate in the “Eggcellent” Olympics.

We will have various fun games to play featuring eggs—and maybe even some chickens! This will be Something Cool After School. Call the library to sign up and then stop in on Tues, April 12 or Thurs, April 14 at 4 p.m. Call the library to sign up!
