Erskine United Church services for summer will have a break from June 26 through July. Services will resume on Aug. 7 at 9 a.m.

A couple of baptisms at the United Church to make note of on June 19. Kate Chapman, daughter of Lee and Sarah Chapman and Luke Henderson, son of Tim and Trish Henderson, will both be baptized the same day and all who would like to send their warm wishes are welcome to attend.

Provincial Achievement tests are well underway for Grades 3, 6, and 9.

Grades 9 are holding their Legacy to Literacy lunch on Friday. Each year, the Grade 9 choose a favorite book and the library orders it in and they sign it with their name at the front of the book for future readers  to read and know that it was once a favorite book of past students who attended Erskine School.

June 20 is the school calendar year’s last early PD Monday at 1:45 p.m.

June 21 is Grades 4-6 track meet day.

June 21 is last day for school for high school students before exams and today is last day of school for Grade 12 students before departmentals.

Grades 5-8 leave on a field trip for West Edmonton Mall’s water park on June 24. The bus leaves Erskine school at 8:15 a.m. and gets back to school at 5:30 p.m. for all parents to pick up.

June 28 is last day of school and there will be a picnic at the park hosted by Erskine school and parent council. Picnic in the park is for Erskine school students and staff, parents and siblings. There will also be an elementary assembly later that day. Please call the school to let them know if parents and younger children will be attending the picnic in the park so they know how many hot dogs to purchase.
