Terry Fox school activities run Friday

.

ERSKINE

Have we ever seen a more beautiful fall than this year? I think summer finally hit in September. Harvest has been going great.

Twin Arrows Ranch held its 16th annual horse sale this last weekend. It was mixed in with the rummage sale and the barrel-racing events all going on at the same time. The sale went well, with 60 horses — colts, mares, geldings and riding horses — all going to new homes.

The Erskine transfer station now has a recycling bin for cardboard, plastic containers, tin cans, and glass. We now can make sure that those are separated with your other trash and help in the recycling process.

Erskine School meet-the-teacher night was held this past week. School/parent council was held Tuesday night.

The Terry Fox activity day will be held this Friday. The after-school library program will also be held that day at 3 p.m.

Early PD Monday is Oct. 3.

Birthday wishes go out to Bill Dyer on Sept. 28, Chad Bauman on Sept. 29, Murray Bauman on Sept. 30, Dale Barclay on Oct. 3 and Jeff Tait on Oct. 4.
