You still have time to register for the Botha Talent Showcase being held at 2 p.m. at the Botha Hall March 14, please contact Brenda if you have any questions or to register.

Remember if you’re too shy to display your talent, or showcase it on stage, you’re still welcome to attend through a two-dollar-for-individual or five-dollars-for-a-family plan; admission will be charged at the door.

The village and Community Centre will be working hard this April (weather permitting) on the ball diamonds: the plan entails removal of the two diamonds, replacing it with a regulation size diamond and adding more camping spaces. The village has purchased a number of trees that will be planted to enhance the area. If you would like to volunteer please contact Ryan at 403 742 2559.

The Botha Seniors’ Centre continues with carpet bowling Wednesdays at 1:30 p.m., floor curling is now only at 7 p.m., there is no longer an afternoon session.

Military whist will not be held this month. They will be hosting bingo on March 16, the doors open at 6:30 p.m. Be sure to note the March 30 bingo will be a ham bingo just in time for Easter.

The Old Time Dance Club will be kickin’ it up Friday March 12 at 8 p.m. The Botha United Church is now holding worship at 9 a.m. on Sundays, this will continue through June, Reverend Susan Bowyer presiding.

That’s it for Botha this week.

Have a great day.
