Summer reading programs getting underway

STETTLER PUBLIC LIBRARY -- We are putting the finishing touches on the TD Summer Reading Program at the Stettler Public Library.

STETTLER PUBLIC LIBRARY -- We are putting the finishing touches on the TD Summer Reading Program at the Stettler Public Library. We visited Botha School and Stettler Elementary School to get the kids excited about the program and it has worked so far. We have already had some kids sign up for the reading program and also for the rest of our programs in June. We cannot thank the schools enough for letting us come in and give our presentation to their students.

As a reminder, on Saturday, June 25 between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., we are hosting a get your summer read on day. On this day, our goal is to get 30 kids to register for our program. We will be having games, lunch and drawing for three iPods. Kids who signed up before June 25 and kids who sign up for the program that day will be eligible. We are so excited to answer any questions you may have. The TD Summer Reading Club starts on Monday, July 4 and will run until Friday, August 26. We can also answer any questions you may have about the library or the TD Summer Reading Club by calling (403) 742-2292.

For the rest of June we have a few programs planned:
