Halkirk Herald

Mother Teresa students have joined 3000 schools across Canada and have registered to vote in student elections mimicking the federal election campaign. They are joining 400,000 other students nationwide on April 27 to cast votes that will be tallied on April 29. Although the votes will not count, it will be interesting to note the results. The program is designed to encourage interest in the democratic process and learn about the fundamental act of voting.
