Erskine School held a Remembrance Day service in school on Nov. 8 with Legion members conducting the service and with students giving their memorials and tributes.

Russell Stewart came home from Calgary feeling great as he reported on his condition. He was able to acquire a spot in Orange County Hospital in California for his Liberation treatment for MS. He said the operation was a success and feels more and more improvement everyday.

He said he now needs physio-therapy treatment to help improve the muscle in his leg. Where once his hands and feet were always cold they now have great circulation and they are warm again. “I’ve had great support from my community and friends,” said Russell. He looks forward to the future with new strides every day.

Report cards go home today with interviews going on Nov. 16.

Nov. 16 is also the school council’s home business fair from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. The fair has had great success with people from the community and around coming out to support the fundraiser and able to get some Christmas shopping done. If you would like a table to sale your wares, then contact Jodi at 742-3562.

Clearview students get Remembrance Day and Friday, Nov 12 off for a school holiday.
