Stettler Silver Stars 4-H Club Achievement Day

.

KAYLA MYSHANIUK

On June 12, the Stettler Silver Stars horse 4-H club was lucky enough to enjoy a wonderful Achievement Day. First, we were judged on the grooming of our horses. And thanks to all the judges for your help. After we finished our grooming challenge, we were schooled on English riding. It was very interesting because we have one member that does ride English and the rest of us ride western. Thanks to Michelle Rangen for that awesome presentation. While our group members had a chance to ride English, others chose to go outside with Kelsey Hallet and learn how to goat tie. After that, we were treated to a great lunch. We all ate quickly so we could get saddled up and ride but right after lunch we, watched an introduction to Farrier work. Thanks to Terry Andersen for that. Now, we are ready to ride. First, we did barrels with Christie Comte. After that, Terry Andersen was ready to ride so he did team sorting with us. After we all had a chance to sort four times, we went outside for individual and group pictures.

Bye all you Stettler Silver Stars! Hope to see you all next year!
