Please keep in mind that the library will be closed on February 21 for Family Day. Drop in early to pick up some books! We will reopen on the 22 at 10 a.m., as usual.

Feeling stressed these days, there is so much going on these days! Join us for Yoga Nidra with Alicia Tate! Do you know that state between being awake and asleep? That is exactly what Yoga Nidra helps you achieve! You will be relaxed in no time. Be sure to join us over Zoom on Thursday, February 24 at 8 p.m. Do not worry if you fall asleep during the session—we will be keeping our cameras off! If you want more information or to ask for the Zoom link call us at the library.

It is time for games! Join us online on Mondays for some cool, online games. We have something for everyone. You will need “Nintendo Switch Online” in order to participate in Nintendo games. Be sure to catch us at 8 p.m. for an hour and a half of fun gaming! Contact us if you need information about how to connect with us.

Need something fun for your children 6 and up to do? We’ve got you covered! Join us February 19 for post-Valentine’s Catapults, we will build catapults and launch leftover candies at Brain Train which leaves the station every Saturday at 10:30 a.m. or 12 p.m. The following week we are offering Kids Coding Club and we will be drawing our own backgrounds and sprites using a free online resource called Scratch. We also offer great programs for children on Tuesdays and Thursdays, join us for Something Cool After School on February 22 or February 24 at 4 p.m. We will create art with buttons on canvas! Spaces are limited, so be sure to call us to register for children’s programming.

Who doesn’t like Kinder Surprises? Create your own pompom dog using a Kinder Surprise Egg during Teen Scene on Wednesday, February 23 at 6 p.m.! It will be the perfect Easter decoration. We will enjoy some chocolate as we create our crafts. Spaces are limited, so call us to sign up, Teens and ‘Tweens ages 10 and up are welcome.

Follow a trail of letters with Fredrik Backman’s book, My Grandmother Sends Her Regards and Apologizes. Elsa’s grandmother has much to apologize for and does so by leaving behind various letters, leading her granddaughter, Elsa, on a grand adventure.

The Reader’s Circle Book Club will meet via Zoom on Feb. 22 at 6:30 p.m. to discuss. Pick up a copy at the library and ask us for the Zoom link.

Create your own sweater slipper boots! Crystal’s Crafting Club has some old sweaters that you can upcycle into cozy boots. These will be perfect for wearing at home during the last few cold winter nights.

The kits will be ready for pick up today and Crystal will be posting the how-to video on Facebook tonight. Call the library to request a kit and watch the video on Facebook. Your toes will thank you!

Want to improve your resume? Our volunteer employment resource person is here to help you make it the best it can be. They have 30+ years of experience in employment supports and are available on Thursdays from 1-3 p.m. Call us to book an appointment.

“Snowflake on my tongue/Ice cold, then warm and melting/Winter’s special treat.” (Michele Meleen) Join Read and Rhyme for some fun on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 10:30 a.m. We will sing songs, practice rhymes and read stories together. Your children will be reading in no time! For families with children ages 0-5.

Neil Gaiman wrote “A book is a dream you hold in your hand.” You and your children will have 1, 000 dreams with 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten.

With the use of the free app, you and your child can keep track of their progress, and receive small prizes for every milestone reached along the way. This program encourages you to spend quality time together and encourages pre-literacy skills. Start reading today!

Need computer help? Shaunzy is available on Saturdays from 1 to 6 p.m. to help you with any questions you may have. Also, if you are interested, he will teach you to use our digital conversion equipment. Book an appointment today.

Is homework getting you down? Our tutor can help!

For students K-12, our tutor can assist you in the library or via Zoom. Upper level math is available only through Zoom.

Tutoring is available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays after school. Call the library and let us know what you need help with and we will set you up with an appointment.
