Bill and Joyce Hansel were guests of Marie Vance on Saturday night to help celebrate Kelly's birthday. Also there were Ken Miller, his sister Evelyn, Marie's daughter Teresa and Ken Schuab. All enjoyed a turkey supper.

Happy birthday on Tuesday to Bill and Joyce's great granddaughter Shaya, who turned six. And of notable mention, Bill and Joyce were up at Percy and Paulette's one morning last week and yes, the women are still champs of Five Hundred; up three games.

Jim and Ethel Baird are the proud great grandparents of their 12th great grandchild. Congratulations to MaryBeth and Scott Reimer on the birth of their son Lane Cooper, Feb. 29. Lane weighed six pounds one ounce, a brother for two-year- old sister Morgan. Proud grandparents are Kevin and Diane Baird. All are doing well. Congratulations to all!

Our local Big Knife 4H Beef Club is holding a bottle drive for the next two weeks. Anyone who would like their bottles picked up can call Denise at 403 740 5566 or Corina at 403 574 2183. The 4H district presentations were held Feb. 27 at the Stettler Elementary School. Local awards went to Charlee Derr who placed second in juniors; Rylee Jacobson and Keyonna Derr who placed third in seniors. They will go on to regionals March 20 in Delia.

There will be a Saint Patrick's supper and social at the Gadsby Community Hall on March 18. doors open at 6 p.m., supper 7 p.m. A white elephant sale starts 8:30 and "Luck of the Irish" games to round out a fun evening. Everyone welcome.
