Congratulations to Chris Rowland and Heather Blouin of Donalda, who were married in Big Valley last weekend. Chris is the son of Allan and Jean Rowland.
Madelyn and Mikenna Schauer, who both qualified for the national high school rodeo finals, will go to Gillette, Wyoming this month. Madelyn will compete in barrel racing while Mikenna competes in goat tying. Good going, girls!
Mother Teresa students, staff and their families enjoyed a two-day field trip to Edmonton on Monday and Tuesday. The group revelled in the fun experiences offered at the water park and Galaxyland at West Edmonton Mall.
Lynn and Val Doan from Edmonton visited with Doan and Sherry Jamieson this week. Lynn and Doan are cousins. They also call on Bill and May Jamieson in Stettler.
Doreen Johnston from Calgary visited with Irene Schilling and then the ladies travelled to Sherwood Park to visit with sibling Ida Hallett.
Mike Neilson from Burnaby, BC spent last week visiting with his mom, Anne as well as other relatives and friends. Amber Neilson from Lethbridge was also up at the weekend to visit with her family.
Dale and Melody Kent attended the 100th anniversary celebrations in Rosalind this long weekend, along with other relatives. The Kent family grew up in that area. Ross Elsasser was in charge of the fireworks display on Saturday night.
