ERSKINE ENQUIRER -- There will be a scrapbooking retreat this weekend beginning Friday, Sept. 30 at 7 p.m. through to Sunday, Oct. 2. It’s not too late to register and you can do so by calling the Erskine Post Office at 403-742-0604 or Sherry at 403-742-0602 in the evenings. Lots of fun, pot luck lunches and suppers. This is also for all card makers.

Coming up on Sunday, Oct. 9 is the Dance Jam in the Erskine IOOF Hall. Everyone is welcome and the cost is minimal. Lots of good music, dancing, visiting and lunch.

The Snowbirds will have their monthly meeting on Sunday, Oct. 2 at 7 p.m. in the Waverly Club Rooms.

Ceramics takes place in the basement of the Waverly Club Rooms on Wednesday afternoons beginning at 1 p.m. All are welcome.

There are lots of rough roads in Erskine now so be careful with your vehicle. Hopefully the county will do some road work on some of the streets that are really bad.

Kids Club has begun and is held on Thursdays at the Erskine Evangelical Free Church. Kids from ECS to Grade 6 are welcome. Activities include Bible stories, crafts, games and snacks. Anyone wanting more information can call Erin Leschert at 403-430-0444 or Eileen McComish at 742-6140.

There is no school on Friday, Oct. 7 due to PD Day and no school on Monday, Oct. 10 for Thanksgiving Day. Awards night will take place on Thursday, Oct. 27 for grades 5-9.
